Hunter Burgan

Hunter Burgan is the bassist for AFI. He’s also the creator of Cat With Matches, a weekly webcomic. His work is influenced by comic strips like Peanuts and Nancy as well as old jazz album covers and Marx Brothers films. 

“Painting, illustration, and music all come from the same place. They are natural extensions of my expression. I like them to be subversive and fun.”

Hunter is an author and vegan advocate. He lives in Los Angeles and has a cat named Harpo.
