Description
Sex is Warm is a description of Soma’s experiences being unhoused and doing survival sex as a young woman. As with so much of Soma’s art the purpose of this piece is to be matter of fact and honest about a situation that holds some personal charge and shame to unpack these issues on a larger social scale. The idea is to be open to make it easier for others to also be open. Shame and stigma are toxic and destroy us personally and socially. We can reclaim these narratives through art.
